Bath Salts

No, these are not the eat people's face off bath salts. These are the kind of bath salts that help tired and weak muscles as well as help you relax after a long day. As with all of my products, I keep my bath salt ingredients to a minimum in order to maintain my natural ingredients.

Bath salts can benefit your skin and overall well being in more ways than one. Salt contains magnesium, which is great for fighting stress and fatigue. Potassium helps to balance moisture levels, and bromide can aid in the comfort of tired or strained muscles. Overall, no matter what salt you use, weather it be epsom salt or dead sea salt the benefits are amazing.

Bath Salts: The Basics

Keeping bath salts limited in ingredients is the best way to ensure that you are maintaining all natural, toxin free product. Making your own bath salt is easy and fun.

Dead Sea Salt can help with a variety of arthritis issues including rheumatoid arthritis. The elemental composition is vastly different than that of ocean sea salt, making the concentration of Bromide, Magnesium, Sodium, Calcium, and Potassium higher. The mud of the Dead Sea is extremely mineral rich, making it also wonderful for your skin. Another really big use of Dead Sea Salt is in the treatment of psoriasis as recommended by the National Psoriasis Foundation.

Adding things such as Almond Oil to your bath salt will also increase moisture and create anti inflammatory properties. Essential oils such as lavender can help you relax. Mint helps aid in aching muscles as well.
